The Hermitage is one of those beautiful estates located on the rolling hills outside of Nashville, TN in Old Hickory. Old Hickory was the nickname of our 7th president Andrew Jackson. He, of course, resided there with his wife Rachel. This September they’re excited to announce that the Middle Tennessee Highland Games are coming back there!

The Hermitage, Andrew Jackson’s presidential home is a pristeen estate. Located just minutes from downtown Nashville, The Hermitage hosts educational and historical events all year long, ideal for the whole family. This year they are welcoming the Middle Tennessee Highland Games, which is returning to The Hermitage after a 10-year hiatus on Saturday, Sept. 12.
