As a person who has been through a lot of tragedies in her life I wasn’t sure I would be able to get through Kara’s book. I had been challenged though to read it and to finish the book. I must say that I’m so very glad I did. It brings you to a place where you realize that with God you can put the small things behind you and really focus on what’s important. There are so many times we sweat the small stuff. Truth is we really shouldn’t sweat the small stuff, ever. Kara’s story was a total life transformation for me. It made me question my desire to be stuck in the job I don’t really enjoy. It just makes you think about the what if’s. It will make you question everything. Is stuff really important? No people are what’s important. Shopping is a sport not an endeavor worthy of our time. She writes a beautiful story of love, faith and inspiration as she shares her tale of meandering through life with stage 4 cancer. I. Can’t. Even. Imagine!
Kara is a mother to 4 beautiful children and a wife to one special husband. You can find her on twitter or instagram and continue hearing her story. Don’t forget to check out her blog at MundaneFaithfulness.com and pick up her book The Hardest Peace: Expecting Grace in the Midst of Life’s Hard. You will not be sorry you did. It will remind you to live in the moment and find Faith and Grace in the hardest of days.
